Hahn keeps Threshers quiet
CLEARWATER — Jesse Hahn is methodically and effectively working his way back from Tommy John surgery. His strong outing Sunday is a testament to Charlotte’s, and ultimately, the Tampa Bay Rays’ plan for the right-hander.
He allowed one earned run in five innings as the Stone Crabs beat the Clearwater Threshers 8-1. Hahn (2-1, 1.74 ERA) struck out four and walked one while allowing three hits. Clearwater’s lone run came in the fourth, when Hahn gave up a home run to Cameron Perkins.
