DeSoto’s Victavia Blandin led the Bulldogs with 16 points in the comeback win over Palmetto on Jan. 24 in the Bulldog’s final game of the season.

The DeSoto County girls JV basketball team had to shake off a slow start in their season finale against the Lady Tigers of Palmetto. The Bulldogs never got into the lead until the second half and then ran away with the game, winning 55-40.
Palmetto started on a 5-0 run and led by those five points at the end of the first period, 11-6. Palmetto scored the first five points in the second period to put the Lady Bulldogs down 16-6.
