It wasn’t the way the DeSoto County seniors wanted to end their basketball careers. In front of the home town fans they ended their home portion of the schedule with a 53-48 loss to Frostproof.
DeSoto County led after one period 12-9 but Frostproof took the lead three minutes into the second quarter and never gave it back. The Bulldogs tied the game at 44 with just under three minutes left in the game but their failure to hit free throws led to their defeat.
