A “Fudge Sandwich” is what this looks like as Quay Fudge is double- teamed on a shot and hit the court quite hard. He hurt his elbow but kept on playing. He finished with 8 points including a perfect 4-4 first half free throws in the 59-35 win over Frostproof.

In most World War II movies you will see a scene where the United States is sending their troops storming up a hill or overtaking a beach. They keep coming in wave upon never-ending wave with no end in sight.
That is what DeSoto County JV basketball coach Ryan Kelley did to the Frostproof team as they ran their record to 9-2 as the season comes to a close.
