Cortez’ hat trick leads Bulldogs over Lake Placid

“Pretend that the goal is your momma, protect her.” That is what DeSoto County JV soccer coach Omar Rendon told his team at the water break.
Apparently the boys love their mommas as they stepped up their intensity and played strong defense to shut out Lake Placid 8-0.
