Almost four years ago, I wrote a column (I can’t believe I have been writing this column for almost five years!) that I called a “keeper.” It contained many telephone numbers and websites that readers could use either to obtain information or to report instances of scams and frauds, which is one of the main objectives of the C.A.S.E. program. At that time, I urged folks to save the information and keep it handy in the event they needed it.
In the years since then, I have come across literally dozens of additional phone numbers and websites that also offer information and recommendations for corrective action. Today, I will offer just some of the ones you might find most useful.
