Children’s books author Sean. W Arnold has teamed up with Arcadia native illustrator Delyne Anderson on their recently release project through publisher Cricket Cottage. “All The Rave” is the first in a series of delightful stories young kids will enjoy with ease, especially budding race car enthusiasts as the book builds up excitement over who will be the winner at the end of the story.

Delyne Anderson’s work illustrating the book comes as no surprise to many in DeSoto County, as her family is fondly remembered for their involvement in the arts. Her parents, Jon and Joyce Anderson, owned the Palette Wheel and Joyce taught painting classes there to students for many years. It came naturally for Delyne as her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother were all accomplished artists. Delyne said, “They both continued painting late into their 90s. My mom is still painting and has a gallery in Brown County, Indiana.”
