Eastern Star helps seniors, Relay for Life

Relay for Life Publicity Chair and Eastern Star member Sister Jo Anne Rider accepts a $500 donation from Worthy Matron Kay Horton.
The Arcadia Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star recently presented donations of $500 each to the DeSoto Senior Friendship Center and the DeSoto County 2013 Relay for Life.
These are just two of the many charities supported yearly by the members of the Peace River Masonic Lodge. With the participation of the community through fundraising efforts, such as the Soup Suppers, the organization is able to give back to local charitable organizations.
