Dr. Ron Sevigny recently opened his eye care practice in Arcadia, giving DeSoto County another option for vision care.

When he graduated from the Boston College of Optometry he looked for an opportunity to practice as an optometrist. He knew of a doctor of optometry in Avon Park, so he came to visit. The doctor was soon to dispose of his business, so Dr. Sevigny took over his practice. That was in 1974.
