As you have probably heard, computers are only as good as its operator or programmer. For this, the city of Arcadia is offering amnesty to any resident or commercial business owner who may be receiving water, sewer and/or garbage service but is not receiving a bill for some reason. During our current in-house audit the city became aware that there may be several accounts out there that fell out of the system or were never entered into the system, so we are providing an opportunity for you to come in and make it right with no repercussions. The account set-up and connection fee will be waived if you come in by Jan. 31; however, the deposit will be required.

Any resident or commercial business owner who is found to be receiving free water, sewer and/or garbage services after Jan. 31 will be penalized to the extent the law may allow. Your service(s) will be immediately terminated and to restore service you will be required to pay the account set-up fee, the connection fee and the appropriate deposit. Further, the city will investigate into the length of time you have received free services and will take legal action to collect for those services.
