PORT CHARLOTTE — Charlotte County planning staff is giving all Parkside residents and stakeholders an assignment: Get familiar with the Parkside Revitalization Plan and bring all questions, concerns and comments to a public meeting next month that will update the community on the district’s redevelopment efforts.

“That’s your homework,” county planner Jie Shao told an audience of 55 people gathered for a Team Port Charlotte meeting Thursday night at the Cultural Center of Charlotte County. “We want citizen input. This is your plan. We want to hear your thoughts, suggestions and ideas.”
