Property Description

We are a small Bavarian style hotel of 22 rooms and suites located at the base of Vail Mountain. The Vista Bahn chairlift is just out our back door -true ski-in/ski-out-. We also manage 6 privately owned 2-bedroom condominiums located in the Christiania Lodge, and another 40 privately owned condominiums located within 2 blocks of the lodge - ranging from studios to 7-bedroom units. Ski right up to the back door and have our ski valet store your skis and put your boots on the boot dryers while you head upstairs to Sarahs Lounge, one of the best apres ski spots in the village. Helmut Fricker still entertains once a week with his combination of Austrian songs, jokes and stories of Vail history. Summer guests will find the same relaxed charm, and will enjoy the walk through Vail Village shops and restaurants as well as the Ford Amphitheater and Betty Ford Gardens. The Christiania Lodge is the perfect place to relax on your vacation, and our friendly staff is here to help you get the most out of all that Vail has to offer. Office hours are 8am-11pm MST. Complimentary continental Breakfast and parking in the summer. Please note the following fees during winter season- Continental Breakfast USD 7.50 per person, parking in the winter USD 15 a day, humidifier rental USD 7.00 a day. Check-in time is after 4pm on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11am. Please check-in at the front desk. If arriving late please call 1-970-476-5641 for instructions.
